3D Engineering issues one free 3D readiness audit per industrial company. This page is written in the register of the report itself.
- Subject
- European industrial SME, 20–500 employees
- Scope
- Public product, parts and download pages
- Region
- Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium

Nobody downstream can open your 3D.
We read a company’s public product and parts pages. Then we issue one audit, naming where its customers, suppliers and shop floor are stuck. It is free, it is about them, and it is not a pitch.
No form on this page.
Nothing is sold here.

What the supplier receives today. Nothing in it rotates and no dimension can be queried.
- 1Three views, chosen by the sender. Any other angle costs an email.
- 2The section was cut once. The reader cannot cut another.
- 3This is what reaches the operator, on paper, at the machine.
Findings
Four findings, ranked. Every audit carries the same shape: what we saw, where we saw it, what it costs.
- 01Blocking
Nobody downstream has CAD software.
The engineer sends a STEP or IGES file to a supplier, an operator or an after-sales agent. None of them can open it. So the part becomes a screenshot, a PDF or a link that expires.
Where we lookProduct pages, supplier documents, download areas
What it costs4 email rounds · 2 weeks
where 2 hours would do

- 02Blocking
The design is not allowed to leave Europe.
Defence, medical and aerospace customers rule out a free US-hosted viewer. The usual answer is unavailable, so the file stays an attachment.
Where we lookSupplier terms, customer data clauses, tender documents
What it costs0 viewers

- 03Costly
Spare parts live in a PDF catalog.
The after-sales desk works from a few hundred pages of exploded diagrams and reference tables. The wrong reference gets ordered, then returned.
Where we lookSpares and service pages, downloadable catalogs
What it costs300 pages
searched by eye, per order

- 04Minor
The tool they used was switched off.
GrabCAD Workbench closed in June 2023 and people still search for it by name. Nothing took its place in the browser, so the habit fell back to email.
Where we lookInternal tooling, engineering backlog
What it costs40–100 h
of internal three.js work, never prioritised

What changes
The same part, sent the same day, with one difference: it opens.
3D Engineering charges nothing. The audit is free and there is no plan to buy from us.
OmniView 3D bills the account you open: free Starter, Pro at 49€/month, Business at 149€/month, annual −20%. The free plan needs no card, and the person you send a link to needs no account at all.
How the audit reaches you
One channel, run end to end. Small batches, high quality, no fourth email.
- 01DiscoverNamed roles at industrial companies of 20 to 500 people in DACH and Benelux.
- 02QualifyOne hard filter: does this company publish parts, products or downloads? If not, it is dropped.
- 03AuditWe read the public surface and issue one report per company, numbered and dated.
- 04DispatchThree short emails, each carrying one new finding. Never a reminder, never a fourth.
- 05HandoffOne button on the audit opens a free OmniView 3D account. That is where our job ends.
Every audit stays online at its own address, permanently. If a report is not specific enough to be useful, it has failed, and we would rather know.
What this page does not do
Deleted on purpose. The absence is the argument.
- No form.
- This page does not ask for your address, and there is nothing to submit.
- No account with us.
- None exists on our side and none ever will. The free OmniView 3D account is opened on OmniView, and the person you send a link to needs none at all.
- No cookie banner.
- First-party counting only, no third-party trackers, nothing to consent to.
- No demo, no chat, no card.
- Nothing is sold on this surface. The audit is free and stays free.
The first thing you get from us is a report about your own company, and you get it before you have given us anything.
The audits begin issuing with the first batch.
Subjects are chosen, not collected. If your company publishes parts, products or downloads in DACH or Benelux, an audit with your name on it is how you will hear from us.
